FAQ
Price & Scope
Land-clearing pricing varies based on brush density, terrain difficulty, and site access, which is why costs are finalized after an in person property assessment. Clear Cut uses fixed, project-based pricing rather than hourly or daily rates, ensuring there are no hidden fees or surprise charges. Our forestry mulching service includes clearing brush, small trees, and vegetation and grinding it into mulch on-site, eliminating the need for hauling, burning, or additional debris removal. Pricing is structured by acreage and brush density tiers to keep it consistent and transparent, and the quoted price is the final price the customer pays.
Communication & Process
A professional land-clearing project follows a clear process from start to finish, including assessment, a transparent quote, scheduling, execution, and completion, with consistent communication throughout each stage. Scheduling is handled proactively, with prompt rescheduling in the event of weather delays, and most projects are completed within a single day once work begins. Before the crew arrives, property owners should mark boundaries and any areas to preserve, while Clear Cut handles 811 utility marking as part of its standard safety protocol. We are fully licensed and insured and provide documentation upon request.
Results & Quality
Our forestry mulchers are designed for minimal ground disturbance, using steel tracks that evenly distribute weight to help protect your property during clearing. While the mulch layer initially helps suppress new growth, long-term prevention of regrowth typically requires regular mowing or ongoing maintenance. Invasive plants such as autumn olive are ground at the root level for effective removal; however, follow-up maintenance may still be necessary to achieve complete eradication.
Safety, Legal & Neighbors
Most residential land clearing does not require permits, though Clear Cut will advise on any local requirements during the project assessment. To prevent property line issues, property owners should clearly mark boundaries before work begins, and Clear Cut operates strictly within those marked limits. During the on-site assessment, we also evaluate any challenging or hard-to-reach areas near neighboring properties and provide guidance on how to approach them safely and accurately.
